The Electricity Company of Ghana has rolled out Phase Two of the government's ambitious Transformer Replacement and Upgrade Programme, this time targeting the Lashibi Primary Substation. The core upgrade involves replacing the existing 20/26MVA transformer (TxL031) with a significantly more powerful 30/39MVA unit. This represents a substantial capacity increase that should address growing power demands in the Lashibi area.

Group A2 (12:00 pm β 6:00 pm): Resolve Hospital, Timber Market, Marina Mall in Spintex, Baatsonaa including Total and Cluster of Schools, and Temple Gate.
Group B1 (6:00 pm β 12:00 am): Emef Estates, Celebrity Golf Club, Sakumono Estates and Village, Community 19, and Awudu Issaka Park.
Group B2 (12:00 am β 6:00 am): Angels School, HFC Estates, Cambodia, Puma Fuel Station, C&J Medical Center, Spintex Junction, ICGC, and Texpo.

Dr. Charles Nii Ayiku Ayiku, Acting Director of Communications for ECG, assured customers that measures are in place to minimize outage durations. The emphasis on safety during installation work shows ECG is taking worker protection seriously.
